Gestalt Approach
I was invited to create artwork for Universal Pictures' Halloween. It was to be inspired the iconic mask, the lead character of Michael, and the heroine Laurie Strode, as presented in Halloween (2018).
My inspiration for this piece came from the Gestalt psychology theory which states that an organized whole is perceived as more than the sum of its parts.
A Focused Approach
For my second design I really wanted to focus on the character of Michael Myers and the eerie patience he showed by waiting 40 years to go after his prey.
A More Modern Style
Looking to incorporate a more modern school of design, I created a third poster that illustrated various parts of the movie if a more simplistic way while still being true to my art style.
